Watchlist for the week of April 7 — 5 clean technical setups

1. NFLX — Double bottom at $680

Support tested twice with bullish RSI divergence. Breakout >$705 confirms. Target $760, stop $668.

2. AVGO — 3-month range breakout

Range $160-$180 since January. Volume expanding. Entry >$182, target $205, stop $174.

3. MA — Pullback to ascending trendline

Bullish trendline from October touched for the 4th time at $490. RSI at 40. Target $530, stop $480.

4. PLTR — Tight bull flag after earnings

Post-earnings gap up, flag consolidation. Entry >$28, target $34, stop $25.50.

5. GS — Weekly ascending triangle

Resistance at $520 tested 3 times. Ascending support. Breakout imminent. Target $570, stop $495.

AVGO and PLTR are my favorites. Demand for AI chips (AVGO) and defense software (PLTR) is structural, not cyclical. Fundamentals support the technicals.

The NFLX double bottom interests me. But is volume on the second trough lower than the first? That's an important criterion to validate the pattern.

Yes, volume on the 2nd trough is -30% vs the first. Textbook. And the RSI divergence (lower price low, higher RSI low) strengthens the signal.

GS I'm not convinced. Bank earnings are next week, that could blow everything up. Are you holding through earnings?

Never. My plan is to enter on the breakout and close Friday evening at the latest. I don't swing trade through earnings.
